The genus belongs to the Pinaceae family, and the raw material comes from areas in Bulgaria, where the trees grow under constant care throughout the year. The needles are selected for processing, while the other parts of the tree are set aside. The needle carries resin ducts in its mesophyll, which extend along its longitudinal axis and shape the resinous part of the scent in the raw material. Steam extraction retains the volatile substances of the needles and gives the aromatic profile of the finished product from this tree species its density. Storage
